The fashion set and A-list crowd descended upon Bondi Icebergs Dining Room and Bar to celebrate the close of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2019. After a fashionable hiatus, IMG brought back their coveted closing party with the event set to become a MBFWA schedule staple for years to come.

The 2019 event, dubbed ‘The Huawei “Break Up” Party’, also celebrated the launch of the new Huawei P30 Pro, the smartphone with the best camera technology in market.

The chic event was a firm favourite in the calendars of both Sydney and international guests alike attracting a cool crowd of celebrities, high profile models, and designers including Somali-American model Halima Aden, MC for the night Rachael Finch, Sydney racing royalty Kate Waterhouse, Australian models Rosie Tupper and Simone Hotznagel, Australian social media star Pia Muehlenbeck, Victoria’s Secret model Maggie Lane, singer and sister of Australian teenage heart throb, Alli Simpson, Australian designers Christopher Esber, Rachel Gilbert, Michael Lo Sordo, Anna Quan, former foreign minister Julie Bishop and many more.

The tone was set for an evening of fashionable revelry with guests treated to the sounds of DJ Charlie Chux while being encouraged to “break up” with their current phones in order to receive a new P30 Pro (valued at $1559rrp) by placing their old phone in Huawei’s ‘break up love heart machine’.

Drinks flowed throughout the night while party revellers overlooked the iconic Bondi Beach enjoying canapes including Calamari St.Andrea, Bruschetta San Danielle Proscuitto & Marinated Peppers, Calabrian Chili Fried Chicken and Nutella Macaron that roamed the room.
