Rosi Fernandez, La Prairie Managing Director, welcomed guests and invited them to celebrate the many successes the brand has experienced to date, including La Prairie’s number 1 skincare ranking across David Jones and the current net sales growth of +41% across Australia.  

Despite the current trends bolstering the luxury category including the currency benefit, which is bringing more tourists and travelling Chinese shoppers to Australia, and the trend of consumers opting for better quality items. Rosi attributes these successes to La Prairie’s bespoke in store services and luxury experiences, which continues to bring new loyal customers to the brand.

Rosi concludes by crediting the special role Skin Caviar collection has played in paving the course for the La Prairie to become the pioneer of the luxury skincare category – a status many have tried to imitate. The Skin Caviar collection represents 39% of the turnover for the brand in Australia and will continue to prosper with the new addition to the collection.    

Guests were introduced to the new Skin Caviar Essence in Lotion by La Prairie National Training and Promotions Manager, Belinda Besant. Belinda began by re-introducing the beloved Skin Caviar Collection, a collection that began in 1987 with firming and lifting benefits that launched the world’s love for this unique delicacy for the skin.

The first of its kind, Skin Caviar Essence in Lotion is created through an extensive distillation process that allows the product to be based on a revolutionary caviar water in lieu of regular water. The product also contains caviar extract, known for its lifting and firming benefits, as well as La Prairie’s proprietary exclusive Cellular Complex.

Belinda invited guests to engage with the two La Prairie experts present and discover the new product’s benefits for themselves before introducing former Ms World Australia, Erin Holland, whose classically trained vocals serenaded guests as they continued to enjoy their lunch.

Concluding the event, Ai San Beaumont, La Prairie Marketing and PR Manager, thanked guests for their attendance and continued support before introducing the final course, a spherical and golden dessert inspired by gold caviar.

Each guest was gifted a box of Skin Caviar, including the new Skin Caviar Essence in Lotion and Skin Caviar Luxe Cream, as well as a selection of travel sized caviar products.
