MILTON FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL CONFIRMED FOR OCT 2020

The inaugural Milton Food & Wine Festival is confirmed to take place on Saturday, 10 October 2020 at Milton Showground.

While tempting your taste buds with a delicious selection of food and beverages, Milton Food & Wine Festival will showcase some of the South Coast’s most prestigious wineries, breweries and restaurants across a day filled with live music and activities.

Confirmed partners include; Bannisters Mollymook, Stoic Brewery, South Coast Distillery, Dangerous Ales, Somethings Brewing, Corang Estate, Coolangatta Estate with more to be announced.

The Milton Food & Wine Festival aims to help bring local businesses back to fruition following the devastation of the recent bushfires, floods and Covid-19. Festival organisers are pleased to confirm that over 75% of ticket bookings so far have come from outside the region and they hope to continue to attract visitors to help support the re-building of the community.

The Festival will feature an array of entertainment throughout the day including, special guest performer, Sydney songstress Brittany Maggs who will be headlining the live entertainment. Brittany recently reached over 22M views on YouTube and released her latest single ‘Between the Sheets’ earlier this year.

“It is a great feeling to be able to give back to the local community of Milton and provide people with some joy after these hard and trying times. As a performer, I have missed being on a stage in recent months and look forward to bringing a great show to the event”. Said, Brittany Maggs.

There will be plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy throughout the day including a demonstration from the local heroes, the Milton Rural Fire Service who will be presenting fire safety tips and a guided tour through the fire truck. There will be a variety of amusement rides, the Circus Playground featuring juggling toys, stilts, unicycles and much more.
